Based in Omaha, Nebraska, after spending time in Chicago and Los Angeles, Zach Peterson has been called “one of the funniest performers around” by Minneapolis’ CityPages, while Kyle Kinane says, “Zach is Hilarious.” A nationally touring comedian for more than 15 years, Zach has made a name for himself as an “affable oddball” with "sharp writing and an off-kilter charm," performing everywhere from Alaska to Florida and headlining clubs, theaters, and festivals across the country.

Zach has worked with comedians including Tom Papa, Bobcat Goldthwait, Annie Lederman, Doug Benson, and many more. In 2025, he was one of the few comedians featured on the Vans Warped Tour. He has also been selected for numerous festivals, including the prestigious Laughing Skull Comedy Festival, Limestone Comedy Festival, 10,000 Laughs, Big Sky Comedy Festival, and High Plains Comedy Festival, where he has performed three times.

Zach is also a producer of Arguments and Grievances, a critically acclaimed comedy show that has been featured on Audible.com and the New York Comedy Festival. The Chicago Tribune called it, “Smart, high-stakes tomfoolery disguised in a brilliant, faux-brainy conceit... This show is a riot.” Arguments and Grievances is a monthly show at The Caveat Theater in New York City.

His album A List of Wet Celebrities debuted at #1 on the iTunes Comedy Charts and has surpassed two million streams on Spotify, with tracks currently receiving airplay on SiriusXM. The special of the same name, produced by 4x3 Productions, was released on YouTube in 2024. Zach also appeared in the feature film The Headliner, released on Amazon Prime in 2025, and contributed to the film’s writing.
 

When he’s in Omaha, Zach is a frequent guest on The Todd and Tyler Radio Show a regular feature at The Omaha Funny Bone and he runs the Omaha chapter of Don’t Tell Comedy, along with several other comedy shows around town.
